DERMAL FILLERS · HYALURONIC ACID

Dermal Fillers, Restored to Proportion

FORMA treats facial volume the way a physician reads anatomy — by structure, not by syringe count. Our hyaluronic-acid filler line is Galderma Restylane, a hyaluronic-acid family chosen for its range and predictability. Dr. Caio Trentin, MD performs every consultation and every injection personally. You are treated by the physician who plans your face, not by a delegated injector.

The Practice

Hyaluronic acid, used with restraint

Hyaluronic acid is a substance the body already makes. As a filler, it adds support where the face has lost volume — along the cheek, the jawline, the lips, and the folds that deepen with time. At FORMA, the filler line is Galderma Restylane: a family of hyaluronic-acid gels formulated for different depths and tissue behaviors, so the product can be matched to the area rather than forced to fit. The goal is proportion restored, not volume added. Restraint is the standard.

The Approach

A physician plans the whole face

Volume loss in one region pulls on every region around it. Dr. Trentin assesses the face as a connected structure — bone, fat compartments, skin laxity — and decides where support belongs and where it does not. That assessment is medical, and it stays with the physician from plan to placement. The result is treatment sequenced over the right intervals rather than filled all at once.

The Distinction

HA filler is not a biostimulator

Restylane restores volume directly with hyaluronic-acid gel, and hyaluronic-acid fillers can be dissolved if needed. That is a different mechanism from collagen-building biostimulators, which prompt the body to build its own structure over months. FORMA offers both categories. For biostimulator treatment, see our Sculptra and Radiesse pages — the right tool is chosen for the face in front of us, and that decision is made at consultation.

The Physician

Treated by Dr. Trentin, personally

Dr. Caio Trentin, MD trained in Internal Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine. Injectable work at FORMA is not handed to a staff injector. He performs the consultation, the mapping, and the injection — one physician, accountable for the plan and the placement. That continuity is the point of the practice.

Questions

Questions

What should I expect during a dermal filler visit?

Your visit begins with a seated consultation with Dr. Trentin. He reviews your history, examines your face as a connected structure, and maps where support belongs. If you proceed the same day, the area is cleansed and a topical or local anesthetic is used for comfort. Restylane is injected in small, controlled amounts, with Dr. Trentin assessing balance as he works. Most appointments are completed in a single sitting. The full plan and pacing are determined together at your consultation.

Is hyaluronic-acid filler reversible?

Hyaluronic-acid fillers such as Restylane can be dissolved with an enzyme if adjustment is wanted. Reversibility is one reason hyaluronic acid is a common starting point. Any decision to dissolve is made with Dr. Trentin based on your individual result.

What is the aftercare?

In the first hours after treatment, the conservative approach is to keep the area clean, avoid heavy pressure or massage on the treated zones, and skip intense exercise, heat, and alcohol for the rest of the day. Mild swelling, tenderness, or small bruises are common and usually settle within days. Your specific written aftercare is provided to you after treatment and reflects your areas and products.

How is filler different from Sculptra or Radiesse?

Restylane is a hyaluronic-acid filler that restores volume directly and can be dissolved. Sculptra and Radiesse are biostimulators that prompt your own collagen to build gradually over time. FORMA offers both; Dr. Trentin recommends the category that fits your anatomy and goals at consultation. See our Sculptra and Radiesse pages for those treatments.

Will I look overdone?

FORMA treats by proportion, not by syringe count. Dr. Trentin places support where the structure calls for it and stops where it does not. The intent is a face that reads as itself, restored — not altered.
